Thomas Ridley named winner of Delivering Excellent Service Award at Center Parcs Supplier Awards

On Thursday 14th July 2011 Center Parcs announced the winners of its annual Center Parcs Supplier Awards during a prestigious ceremony at Center Parcs Sherwood Forest presented by the Chief Executive Office, Martin Dalby. It is a pleasure to announce that Thomas Ridley has been named winner in the Delivering Excellent Service category.
This is the second year of the Center Parcs Supplier Awards; rewarding suppliers for their high levels of service and impressive environmental credentials. Center Parcs has nearly 2,000 suppliers from over 20 different areas from sports equipment to food and beverage.
All departments of Center Parcs nominated suppliers for the awards and voting in all categories ran from February to May 2011. Votes were cast in 5 categories, Local Supplier of the Year, Product & Service Innovation, Environmental Initiative, Delivering Excellent Service, Outstanding Individual and Supplier of the Year.
Helen Bennett Purchasing Manager for Center Parcs commented: "We see our suppliers as an extension of our own organisation and we want to ensure that those who help us Deliver Excellent Service and share our environmental values are recognised and rewarded, whether that is through gaining an extra share of our business or through events such as this".

They demonstrate on a daily basis that their whole team from delivery drivers, through to senior management are committed to ensuring no problem becomes an issue and therefore delivering excellence service to our villages.


SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR AWARD: THOMAS RIDLEY
They were nominated for all six categories and short listed in four of them. They have proved time and time again to us that they are truly committed to the Center Parcs culture and fully understand our operating philosophy. Through all of the challenges and hurdles we have faced they have continued to deliver on a weekly basis with a staggering 99% service delivery rate.
