This delicious 'handmade' range has something to suit every palate - and Country range can, of course, provide the teas to complement each one. this mouth-watering selection includes: Carrot Cake, Coffee & Walnut Cake, victoria Sandwich, Chocolate Cake and lemon Drizzle Cake.
All have been frozen to produce the highest possible quality in texture and taste. For ease of portion control, each cake is pre-divided into 14 slices and will defrost, out of packaging, in the refrigerator in approximately 8 hours. and so you can provide the perfect experience, we asked international tea expert nick Bunston to suggest the perfect pairing of tea and cakes...
Which teas for which cakes?
English Breakfast tea
light and airy scones, served with strawberry and rose petal flavoured jams and rich thick clotted cream. or Country range's handmade victoria Sandwich, filled with layers of raspberry jam and butter icing, finished with a sweet dusting.
Earl Grey Tea
apple and Blackberry Choux a la Creme - Choux pastry ball, with a crisp streusel topping, filled with tart apple puree, blackberry cremeux and vanilla creme.

Green Tea
hazelnut Financier with Poached Pineapple - hazelnut cake enriched with beurre noisette, and baked with vanilla and anise-poached pineapple. or for speed and ease pair this tea with Country range's handmade Coffee & Walnut Cake, which is filled and topped with layers of coffee butter icing and finished with walnut pieces is another perfect match.
Lemon Tea
