The Handmade Cake Company was founded over
20 years ago and is still baking great cakes in a bakery
in Maidenhead, Berkshire in a traditional,
handmade way.
Our cakes come from trusted household recipes using
only the ingredients that you would be happy to use in
your own home – the only way we preserve them is by
freezing!
We don’t have a production line, our cakes are made
in small batches by a team of skilled and experienced
bakers and finishers – this is the only way that our
cakes will continue to look and taste homemade.
Our cakes and traybakes are now guranteed to be 100% free from hydrogenated fats.
All handmade cakes should be defrosted at room temperature overnight and once defrosted have a minium ambient shelf life of 3 days.
All our traybakes are pre-cut into 12 portions.
When purchased pre-cut, our cakes are cut into 14 portions.
