The Country Range Student Chef Challenge returns!! The next generation of chefs have the opportunity to return to catering competitions by taking part in the Country Range Student Chef Challenge in 2022.

This prestigious culinary competition has become a firm fixture in the catering industry’s calendar and we can’t wait to have it back and see what the new up-and-coming talent has to offer.

This competition is the perfect platform for full-time hospitality and catering college students in the UK to improve their cooking skills, knowledge and technique as well as providing invaluable experience working under pressure and in competition situations.

Run in partnership with the Craft Guild of Chefs, the student chef challenge provides many benefits for individuals and colleges and is seen by many as the perfect stepping stone for a future career in the hospitality industry. This is a great opportunity for students to demonstrate their creativity and their knowledge of different ingredients.

The challenge criteria this year is to cook and present two portions of a three-course meal, comprising canapés, Guinea fowl main course, and a dessert within a 90-minute period.
