BRCGS Storage and Distribution Certification - The BRCGS Global Food Safety Standard has set the benchmark for nearly 25 years. Adopted by over 22,000 sites in more than 130 countries, the standard is accepted by 70% of the top 10 global retailers, 60% of the top 10 quick-service restaurants, and 50% of the top 25 manufacturers.
Developed with input from industry, it provides a framework to manage product safety, integrity, legality and quality, and the operational controls for these criteria in the food and food ingredient manufacturing, processing and packing industry.
EFSIS approved – we are compliant with the European Food Safety Inspection Standard, giving you peace of mind that the highest standards are maintained throughout our operation. 

STS Certified food supplier – a prerequisite to supply into the NHS, we are compliant with the STS Food Safety Standard for food suppliers and distributors; a highly regarded UKAS accredited technical standard.  

NHS Supply Chain – we are proud to be a part of the NHS supply chain, supplying food and drink products to a range of NHS establishments across the East of England.  

Soil Association Organic Certified – in order to legally supply our customers with organic food and drink products, we have been audited on our storage, handling, labelling and record keeping of the organic products in our range and are proud to meet the Soil Association’s high standards.   

ESPO - working within the ESPO frameworks for the public sector ensures that we have been assessed for our financial stability, track record, experience and professional ability, and that the buying process is fully compliant with all EU and UK procurement legislation. 

Dignity at work standard – we are proud to follow this standard to create a positive working environment and to protect the human rights of our staff.  
MSC: Marine Stewardship Council supplier - The MSC ecolabel is the world’s most recognised label for sustainable seafood. Thomas Ridley only works with suppliers that have this label on their products. This ensures that our customers can trust where our fish and seafood comes from, showing that we are rewarding sustainable fishing and helping to keep seafood on their and future generations’ plates.

LACA - the leading professional body representing members from across the school food sector caterers and suppliers, dedicated to ensuring that our children get the benefits from a healthy, nutritious school lunch. 
TUCO - the leading professional membership body for in-house caterers operating in the higher, further education and public sector. TUCO supports procurement and learning excellence, provides advice and is working towards providing quality standards for the public sector catering industry. 
The National Association of Care Catering (NACC) – as a large supplier of care and nursing homes, we’re proud to be a member of the NACC, which is committed to raising standards of care catering and championing the positive impact nutrition, hydration and mealtimes have on the physical and emotional health and wellbeing of residents.  
We are also members of the British Frozen Food Federation (BFFF), the trade body for the frozen food industry, and the Federation of Wholesale Distributors (FWD) - the trade association for food and drink wholesalers in the UK.
