Deliciously moist Christmas pudding made with cider, rum and is packed full with juicy sultanas. This is an ambient product that can be microwaved or steamed to serve. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Each catering loaf is 1.25kg and provides 12 servings. The loaves can be portioned into 4 wedges, 6 slices or 12 portion blocks. There are 6 catering packs in each wholesale case.
Sultanas (28%). Sugar, Fortified Wheat Flour (WHEAT Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin). Cider (9%). Water, Humectant (Glycerine). Palm Oil, Candied Mixed Peel (Orange Peel, Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Lemon Peel, Sugar, Acidity Regulator (Citric Acid)). Rum (1%). Mixed Spice, Salt, Molasses, Yeast.

| Preparation | TO STEAM: Pierce the top of each basin with the end of a single fork prong. Place the basin in water, which comes 2/3 of the way up the loaf. Simmer (DO NOT BOIL) the loaf in the basin for 2 hours. TO MICROWAVE: Cut the plastic membrane between the two basins to separate. Pierce the top of each basin with the end of a single fork prong. If using a 1KW microwave heat each basin for 2.5 mins or the twin pack for 7 mins. If using an 800W microwave heat a single basin for 3.5 mins or the twin pack for 9 mins. This is a guideline only. We suggest you consult your instruction manual). Leave to stand for 1 minute before serving and check that it is piping hot. |
