Lemon is a very popular flavour due to the natural Sicilian lemon paste, lemon oil and top quality lemon peel that is used to make this cake, giving it a great lemon zing. This cake from Real Norfolk also has a lovely sticky, gloopy golden syrup, adding to the sweet flavour and making the texture slighty sticky.
